Emergency Closure
PROCEDURES FOR EMERGENCY CLOSURES
On rare occasions situations arise where it is necessary to close the school, for example in heavy snow or very severe storms.
In the event that we have to close the school this website will be updated on the scrolling bar at the top of our home page. We will also send out an email via e-schools to all families, put information on our class Seesaw/ Tapestry pages and put a notice onto our school Facebook Page.
The status of the school will be shown on the Gloucestershire County Council website: https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/closures/ and reported on local radio stations BBC Radio Gloucestershire FM104.7 and Heart FM102.4. There is also a twitter feed available @Glos_schools, where you can subscribe to text alerts.
Only send your child to school if you are satisfied that the journey to school is safe and the school is staffed to accept children. You must also be satisfied that the return journey will be equally as safe.
